- Betty Ross Clarke, Judge Hardy’s Children, 1938. First of two films in Mickey Rooney’s hit series (the other was Love Finds Andy Hardy in same year) where BRS played the wise Aunt Milly Forrest. In the other 14 films, Milly was Haden (daughter of silent star Charlotte Walker), who made a career of being wise,iof starchy, oracles. She had started the role from the very first chapter, A Famjly Affair, 1937.
