- Leonardo DiCaprio, Growing Pains, TV, 1991-1992. Fifteen at the time the Texan Pettiet lost Luke to his pal, Leo… in what’s known as the Cousin Oliver Syndriome. Gettng some hot kid to attract more (tweenage) viewers to a dying show. Didn’t work. Leo and the show were axed. Five years later, Leo made Titanic. Nine years later, Pettiet was dead - due to an accidental OD.
