Judith Ridley

  1. Judith O’Dea, Night of the the Living Dead, 1967.     Horrorsmith Geofge A Romero had Ridley read for his herioine, Barbara. Feeling "out of my depth, "  she became Judy. Ridley was a receptionist at the Pittsburgh office of two of Romero’s $300  investors, Marilyn Eastman and  Karl Hardman… who also won roles. As did a local,  butcher who also supplied blopod and guts.  Said O'Dea: "I honestly had no idea it would have such a lasting impact on our culture."
