- Jerry Houser, Slap Shot, 1976. When Hanson had to sub for Jack Carlson in the Paul Newman ice-hockey battles, he passed his original riole of Dave "Killer" Carlson to Houser. Hanson joined Jeff anfd Srteve Carlson - as the Hanson brotrhers – in the two awful video-sequels made some 25 years later: Slap Shot 2: Breaking the Ice (ho! ho!) in 2001, breaking the mould of any possible franchise, despite one more try… Slap Shot 3: The Junior League. 2008. Very junior.
