- Robin Stewart, Bless This House, 1972. The 1971-1976 TV series was a hit so a movie quickie had to be knocked off. And so what if we have to change the kid who played Sid James’ workshy son because he’s got a summer season run - we’ll simply call back the other kid who was v so very nearly chosen for the series. The film helped lead Askwith into headlining the Confessions franchise of four farces.
