Payday Loans
Jill Esmond (1908-1990)

  1. Katharine Hepburn, A Bill of Divorcement, 1932.     Seen by producer David Selznick but her then husband,  Laurence Olivier, talked her out of it.  Director George Cukor then saw Irene Dunne (too priicey), Anita Louise   and an unknown Welsh girl, Peg Entwistle. He tghen  looked again at his notes on Hepburn’s test. “Leggy, certainly. Definitely toothy.  A New England blueblood. An intellectual. By all means a snob.  Flashy. Strangely masculine. No doubt a lesbian!”  (Yes, apparently just like Jill). Variety hit the spot when noting "a vital something that sets her apart from the picture galaxy."  Kate won fame and fortune. Peg committed suicide that year at 24, jumping to her death from the 50ft high H of the Hollywoodland sign.
