- Kasia Orzazewski, Call Northside 777, 1947. The eminent Austrian stage and screen actress passed on Tillie Wiecek, mother of a jailbird swearing innocence of murder. She wasn’t that happy with her Hollywood debut in Hitchcock’s Notorious, either. “My very first part and they made me into this monster!” The Polish Orzazewski became the mother of the wrongfully jailed Richard Conte in the great film noir in the Fox documentary-style tradition.
