- Cecil Kellaway, The Luck of the Irish, 1947. Oh, Hollywood - what a stupid idea! A Scotsman as an Irish leprechaun with the proverbial pot o’ gold. Inevitably, Horace was inevitably aimed at Film City’s very own leprechaun, Barry Fitzgerald. He was not keen. Kellaway was a perfect substitute. (Strange that no one thought of booking Fitzgerald’s actor brother, Arthur Shields).
