  1. Otis Harlan, Dr Socrates, 1934.        McWade was selected as  Fisher. Or, so it said on the Warner production list.  But Harlan was Fisher on-screen in the Paul Muni thriller. 
  2. Clem Bevans, Way Down East, 1934.        Change of Doc Wiggins in Henry King’s re-hash of the 1920 DW Griffith silent classic with Lillian Gish. In his career lasting from the silent days of 1919 to Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant in 1843, McWade scored 134 movies.
