- Helen Cherry, The Naked Edge, 1960. In the mix for Miss Osborne in Gary Cooper’s first UK film, released a month after his 1961 death. Finn was wed to the great Hammer Films stalwart, Michael Ripper, during 1972-1978 ; Cherry was, as they say, the long-suffering wife, of the alcoholic philanderer, Trevor Howard, for 44 years until his 1988 death.
