- James Meagher, Home and Away, TV, 1988-2010. Not a payday to lose. Dunn (and Ross Higgins) tried out for Alf Stewart in the Summer Bay soap - Meagher was still playing him in 2012 after close on 2,700 chapters of the Aussie soap that launched Simon Baker, Ilsa Fisher, Melissa George, Chris Hemsworth, Heath Ledger, Guy Pearce, Naomi Watts… Dunn simply continued his day job. Voicing the kiddies’ TV puppet, Agro, during 1983-2008.
