- Zbigniew Zanachowski, The Pianist, France-Poland-Germany-UK, 2001. The Russian exec producer always enjoyed taking bit (and more) parts in his Polish movies and TV series. (He was also among the co-producers of Spielberg’s similarly Oscar-winning Schindler’s List, 1993). Roman Polanski made him Customer with Coins who quietens the titular Adrien Brody in a restaurant scene. Trouble was Rywin was too well tanned for someione in the WWII Warsaw ghetto.
