Caven Watson (1903-1953) Howard Douglas, Treasure Island, 1949.     One UK character veteran (14 screen roles since 1938) was replaced by another (90 roles in 43 years) due to Watson’s bad health.  His  final film was another Disney venture in the UK: The Sword and the Rose, 1952.
