- Julia Roberts, Hook, 1990. An early Spielberg idea for Tinkerbelle, but Allison preferred modelling (once nude in Playboy) to acting. Daddy was not well pleased. Said his longterm lover, Sondra Locke: “He wanted his own little dynasty like Henry Fonda had, which he often referred to.” Allison’s first three movies were with Poppa Clint: Bronco Billy, 1980, Tightrope,1983, Absolute Power, 1996 - and he directed her in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, 1997. She has since made a further 20 films.
