- Amanda Burton, Peak Practice, TV, 1993-1995. Flynn and Zoë Wannamaker passed on Dr Beth Glover… Perhaps feeling - knowing? – that she would – or would not? - last the full nine year run. Flynn, who guested with the new team in a 2011 two-parter, made it a habit of ringing the changes in many short-run series (as Mme Maigret, Mary Queen of Scots, etc) while Burton next became the BBC’s top pathologist, Dr Sam Ryan, in Silent Witness for eight years.
