1. - Lee Majors, The Six Million Dollar Man, TV, 1977. Bored  with Steve Austin, even changing  identity with  a moustache, Majors was playing hard to get in  the spring of 77 and the producers looked at possible replacements: Harrison Ford, Olympic champ Bruce Jenner and Gil, the future Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, 1979-81

2. - Bubba Smith, Blue Thunder, TV, 1984.  Well out it - a naff  series based on  the 1983 movie.
