  2. Josh Hartnett, 0, 1999.     Junior Fred read for Hugo in the updated Othello. With college basketball star Odin believing everything Hugo - ie Iago - tells him about O’s girl, Desi. Tim Blake Nelson edited his film by night while making the Coen brothers’ O Brother Where Art Thou during the day.
 Explains much about both movies.

Heath Ledger, The Patriot, 1999.  After Braveheart, Mel Gibson tackles the American Revolutionary War… sans slavery!  Ledger, Prinze, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joshua Jackson, Ryan Phillippe, Brad Renfro, Paul Walker and Elijah Wood were seen for Gibson’s eldest son. Fed up with only being teenage beefcake, Ledger was about to quit acting and return down-under when he won Gabriel.

Ty Burrell, Mr Peabody & Sherman, 2012.   Freddie Jr, Dan Aykroyd, Robert Downey Jr, Kelsey Grammer, Tony Hale, Matthew McConnaughey, Kevin Pollak, and Geoffrey Rush, were run up the DreamWorks flagpole for voicing Mr. Peabody. Who. Is. A. Dog.  But, yes, the most amazing dog in history:  inventor, scientist, Noble laureate, gourmet chef, business tycoon, double Olympic gold medalist. With its own time machine. Plus an adopted human son!  Burrell, the Modern Family TV star was saluted for a voice suiting "not just the intellect and the suave personality, but the underlying warmth as well."  
  8. Scott Wolf, Nancy Drew,TV, 2019-  .  Oh boy, is it that time  already. Scooby-Do’s Fred Jones agreed to father Kennedy McMann’s titular teenage sleuth. But then, the Warner suits took an alternate tack and Wolf  (of the Naked Brothers Band)  was given attorney Carson Drew to run with.
