The shock suggestion for the deformed Salvatore refused to mess with his image as half of the Sicilian slapstick movie comics, Franco Franchi & Ciccio Ingrassia. In some 130 movies during the 60s-70s, they were worse than Abbott & Costello, even if Jayne Mansfield, on her uppers, shared one of their travesties, L’Amore primitivo/Primitive Love, 1964. (Ciccio died in 2003).
